Variety Reveals the Cast for While the Men Are Away

Exciting news! The cast for SBS’s upcoming dramedy series While the Men Are Away has been revealed by Variety.

Set in 1940s rural Australia during WWII, While the Men Are Away is a queer revisionist historical dramedy that follows two Women’s Land Army recruits from Sydney. Their journey takes them into uncharted territory—farming, race relations, rural politics, spirituality, sexuality, and personal growth—against the backdrop of a world turned upside down.

I’m beyond thrilled to have contributed to this project as part of an incredible writing team. Seeing this story brought to life with such a talented cast is a dream come true.
